We have introduced new filters for creating or updating notification templates, specifically for Email and SMS notifications. These filters enable you to send notifications to customers based on specific criteria such as sources, device types, and master agents. Additionally, we have incorporated an Exclude Recipient Group option that offers three filtering choices: source, device type, and master agent. These enhancements provide more flexibility and control in targeting your notifications to the desired audience.
Config Based Filter
The Exclude filter is config-based, meaning its activation depends on the value assigned. If set to 'Y', it will be activated, excluding the specified sources, master agents, and device types. Conversely, if set to 'N', it will be deactivated, and notifications will not be filtered based on these criteria.
Show Exclude Recipient Group= N for enabling exclude option in templates.
Show Exclude Recipient Group= Y for enabling exclude option in templates.
This Exclude Recipient Group will be displayed with every events' template when config is enable.
Source Filter
The Source Filter allows you to exclude specific sources from receiving notifications. Customers created under these excluded sources, such as telgoo5, website, enrollment_portal, bulk_migration_process, api, etc., will not receive any notifications.
Master Agent
Under the Master Agent filter, you can exclude specific master agents from the list. If a customer is created by any agent associated with the excluded master agent, they will not receive any notifications.
Device Type Filter
The Device Type Filter enables you to exclude certain device types from receiving notifications. Customers created with these excluded device types, such as Phone, Tablet, Kidphones, Freephone-flip, Freephone-smart, Freephone, etc., will not receive any notifications.
Note: Excluding all sources or all master agents or all device types is not allowed, as it would render the template meaningless since no notifications would be sent after excluding all sources.
You will find the Exclude Recipient Group options available in both Email and SMS templates, when the configuration is enabled. These options are also accessible when updating any email or SMS template.
Exclude option will be displayed at the time when you try to create any notification template.
After checking on exclude option, a box will be appeared with all exclude filters.
