Lifecycle SMS (PC532) offers email and SMS notifications to customers for activation, plan, and balance-related alerts. These alerts are primarily carrier-based events that are managed through Telgoo5.

Following path can lead you on the page where you can add a new Lifecycle template for sending Email and SMS.
Lifecycle SMS (PC532) --> Add New SMS Rule (PC533)
To create an event's template, you need to follow these steps in sequence:
- Select the mandatory field - Company Name.
- Select the mandatory field - Carrier.
- Select the mandatory field - Rule Type as Email or SMS or Both Email or SMS.
- Enter - Rule Name as a mandatory field. You have to write a short name for your rule.
- Select the mandatory field - Rule Category. as Activation or Plan or Balance.
- Select the mandatory field - Event. Event list will be displayed according to the Rule Category. If you select Activation, all event related to Activation will be displayed under Event.
- Choose an optional field - Plan Name. If you will not select any specific plan, notification will work for all available plans.
- If you select Rule Type as Email or Both, then the following options will be displayed.
- You can add - To Email which is an optional field.
- You have to add another mandatory field - From Email too.
- Enter text in another mandatory field in - Bcc Email.
- Enter text for - Subject which is also mandatory.
- Enter Email's text description in - Email Content, an another mandatory field.
- If you select Rule Type as SMS. then the following options will be displayed.
- Enter the Message Text which will be sent to the customer. It is also a mandatory field. You can not exceed more than 160 character.
- an optional field - Message Gateway. You can send message through default gateway or through other provider or through both.
- Select Other Provider API URL. It is an optional field.
- Write a mandatory field - Rule Description. You can mention a description for your reference.
- Select the mandatory field - Status as Active or Inactive.
Once a Lifecycle rule is created, you can update its content at any time by clicking on the action icon located in front of the rule.

Once you activate a template, notification will be sent to customer according to the created rule.
