INTRODUCTION
Good news! We've added a new feature in TG5 which is ‘Website Tag Management’. To use it, you'll need this permission(PC1132).
You can find the Website Tag Management feature in TG5 under 'Settings' → 'Other Settings' → 'Website Tag Management.'
There are different Tag Managers to choose from:
- Google Tag Manager
- Facebook Tag Manager
- Twitter Tag Manager
- YouTube Tag Manager
- Other
Please make sure to add your website URL in the 'Inventory' section of the 'System Config' before using this feature.
The default screen for Tag Management looks like this:
Several Tag Management options are available under tag manager settings:
- Google Tag Manager
- Facebook Tag Manager
- Twitter Tag Manager
- YouTube Tag Manager
- Other
To add a Tag Manager:
Please proceed to select a tag manager accordingly.
Please select the Tag position accordingly.
Add the script and click on Submit to add the Tag Manager.
You may receive an erro while adding an invalid script.
After adding the content, it will be visible in the website's view source.
To update or remove a tag manager:
Click on Update Tag Manager option:
You have the options to "Deactivate" or "Remove" a Tag Manager.
A confirmation alert message will be displayed when you click on "Remove" to confirm the removal of the Tag Manager.
After confirming the removal, the Tag Manager will be successfully removed.
To activate an inactive Tag Manager, click on the Activate button.
