Telgoo5 allows you to send promotional or industry-related messages to your customers. You have the flexibility to send these messages to all subscribers or target specific customers.
To create a SMS campaign in Telgoo5, follow these simple steps:
1. Navigate to Create Campaign (PC761) under Campaign (PC760).
2. Proceed forward with adding all the mandatory fields.
Campaign Name: Provide a unique name for your campaign and a brief description of its purpose.
Campaign Type: Select whether you are creating an SMS or Email campaign. Based on your selection, relevant fields will appear.
Subject: Enter the subject line for the SMS campaign.
Message: Compose the SMS message body.
You can utilize variables for the messages you create. These variables act as placeholders for your messages and help in easy message customization.
Use the GSM character counter to ensure your message stays within the 160-character limit to avoid splitting it into multiple parts and incurring additional costs. Keep the message concise, clear, and to the point.
Status: Set the SMS campaign status to either active or inactive.
Once all the fields are added and submitted, you will automatically directed to a page where you can
set other configuration for the campaign.
- Campaign Selection: Choose from the drop-down menu to select any of the campaigns you have created.
- Carrier Selection: Select a carrier from the drop-down list. Picking the right carrier is crucial for sending SMS.
- Customer Type: Decide if you want to send the message to all active customers or to specific customers. For specific customers, you can upload an external CSV file.
- Check Preference: Select 'Yes' or 'No' based on the customer's communication preferences.
- Schedule Date: Set the date and time for when you want the SMS to be sent to the customers.
- Send SMS to Alternate Number: Choose whether you also want to send the message to the customer's alternate phone number.
To send a campaign message to specific customers, you can upload a CSV file. For your convenience, you can download a sample file with the necessary headers, making it easy to add your values.
Once you have added the file, you can either start the upload process or cancel it, based on your preference.
The campaign has been successfully added and will be processed at the scheduled date and time. Until then, you have the flexibility to edit the content or cancel the sending.
