To port a number IN, the customer must provide three things from their losing carrier:
- Existing carrier account number
- Billing zip code
- Account password / Transfer PIN
Any of these wrong = port fails. The most common cause of port failures is the customer using the wrong account number. Some carriers (Verizon and T-Mobile, for example) issue more than one number — a billing account number and an OSP account number. Telgoo5 needs the OSP value.
