This article outlines the changes made to the Emergency Lifeline Support for Survivors (SCA) process within the Telgoo5 (TG5) system. The key update is that the Application ID field is now enabled for Lifeline orders, with the exception of orders from Texas (TX) and California (CA).
Here are the main changes:
- Application ID Usage: When an Application ID is provided, the system will bypass the National Verifier (NV) API. For enrollments or transfers in the National Lifeline Accountability Database (NLAD), the system will first attempt to process the request using the Application ID. If processing with the Application ID fails, the system will attempt to complete the request without it.
- SCA Flag: The SCA flag will be updated based on the information retrieved from the NLAD subscriber report.
- System Change: The only modification in the TG5 system is the collection of the Application ID during the enrollment process.
Additional Updates:
- A new, optional field for entering the NV Application ID has been added on the program page.
- The SCA identifier has been added under the "Other Information" section on the CSR dashboard.
