Plan Change
Accessing the Plan Change Module
- Search for Customer: Enter the customer's name or ID in the top search bar to locate and open their account.
- Navigate to Quick Links: On the right-hand side, look for the Quick Links section.
- Open Plan Change: Click on Plan Change (PC77). This will open the CSR Screen For Plan Change.
Processing a Plan Change
- Select New Plan: Click the Change Plan To dropdown menu to select the new service plan for the customer. If the desired plan is not listed, you can click Add New Plan (PC232) to configure it.
- Choose Plan Change Mode: Select the desired Plan Change Mode (PC518) for when the change should take effect:
- Instant (PC628): The plan updates immediately.
- On Expiry (PC629): The change triggers when the current plan expires.
- Custom Date (PC630): Schedule the change for a specific future date.
- Set Expiry Preference: If you want the plan to retain the original renewal date, ensure Keep the Expiry as Original Date (PC631) is checked.
- Note: Be mindful when selecting the Instant change mode, as it will cause the plan to reload immediately based on the new selection.
- Payment and Credits:
- Review the Total Amount due.
- If applicable, apply funds from the customer's Discount Credit or Wallet by checking the relevant boxes.
- If you are bypassing payment, check Skip Payment (PC99).
- Review the Total Amount due.
- Finalize Payment: Select the appropriate payment method from the right-hand side (e.g., Credit Card (PC404), Money Order (PC410), Money Gram (PC411), or Wallet (PC412)).
- Ensure the correct card is selected in the Saved Cards (PC777) dropdown. If there isn’t a credit card saved, input customer’s card information.
- Submit: Click the Submit button to apply the plan change to the account.
