We have introduced a new feature that allows for the verification of customer emails and phone numbers during the signup process. This feature helps ensure that customers are using their correct contact information and reduces the risk of fraudulent orders. Follow the detailed steps below to enable this feature in your CMS.
Step 1: Access the CMS

Log In:
- Open your web browser and go to the CMS login page.
- Enter your username and password, then click Login.

Navigate to Settings:
- Once logged in, look for the Settings option, typically found in the main navigation menu.
- Click on Settings to enter the settings dashboard.
Step 2: Go to Other Settings
- Find Other Settings:
- Within the Settings menu, locate and click on Other Settings. This section contains various additional configuration options.
Step 3: Enable Verification Feature

Locate Enable Verification:
- In the Other Settings section, scroll down until you find the option labeled Enable Verification.

Choose Verification Type:
- You will see options for:
- Email Verification: Check this box to enable email verification for customer signups.
- SMS Verification: Check this box to enable SMS verification for customer signups.
- Both Email and SMS Verification: Check both boxes if you wish to require both types of verification.
- Make your selections according to your preferences.

Save Changes:
- After making your selection, look for a Submit button, usually located at the bottom of the page. Click this button to save your changes.
Once you have enabled the verification feature:
- During the signup process, after the customer enters their name, security question, and other details, they will click Continue.
- A pop-up will appear prompting them to enter the verification code sent to their email or phone number.
- Customers will not be able to proceed further until they enter the correct verification code.
As soon as customers will hit Continue a pop will appear to enter the verification code.
This feature is highly beneficial for verifying customer information, ensuring they are using their correct email and phone number, and reducing fraudulent orders.
