Telgoo5 is linked with the USPS API for address verification.
When customers input their address, it undergoes validation through USPS to ensure accuracy.
However, if USPS flags an address as vacant, an error message is displayed.
We have a system configuration in place that can be enabled or disabled upon request.
It is disabled by default which means it will always call USPS API to verify the address.
Enabling this option provides customers the choice to proceed despite USPS not identifying it as a valid address.
To enable or disable it follow these simple steps:
1. Navigate to system config (PC234) under Telgoo5 settings.
2. Under Address Config, locate Allow Vacant Address in Service Address(SC674).
Proceed with the source or enrollment or onboarding of customer.
AgentProgram, ENROLLMENT_PORTAL, CSR or WEBSITE.
3. Scroll down to submit the changes. Log out and log back in.
Following these steps, the enrollment would easily be able to bypass the vacant address error by USPS.
